The Origin: A Fitness Nerd’s Journey💪
Once upon a time, in the not-so-distant past, I was the proud owner of a marketing firm. My job? To make fitness coaches and influencers famous—or at least, internet-famous. I helped them sell courses, market supplements, and maybe even build an empire or two. Fitness was, and still is, my passion. But as I delved deeper into the industry, I started to see things that would make even a protein shake curdle.
While many coaches are genuinely in it to help you become the best version of yourself, I noticed a disturbing trend: an alarming number of these “gurus” seemed more interested in your wallet than your well-being. Some were selling supplements with all the quality control of a late-night infomercial, and others were offering courses that were about as valuable as a treadmill in a swimming pool. Oh, and those “all-natural” influencers? Let’s just say some of them have a little help 💉 that doesn’t come from kale smoothies.
The Dark Reality: The Fitness Industry Unmasked🎭
Let’s be honest: the online fitness world can be like a reality TV show—dramatic, scripted, and often too good to be true. You’d be surprised how many influencers present a squeaky-clean image, only to hide some seriously shady practices behind the scenes. It’s like finding out your favorite superhero doesn’t actually do their own stunts.
Some fitness influencers haven’t even set foot in the factories where their 'magic' supplements are made—opting instead to dropship products directly to customers without ensuring quality or authenticity themselves.
I realized that this level of deception wasn’t just annoying—it was downright harmful. People looking to improve their health were being misled, manipulated, and sometimes completely ripped off. And the worst part? Most people had no idea.
